Care Assistant x Bank contracts available
Is to provide support cover whilst on shift and your duties will include, working alongside the Manager and Senior Carers to provide the highest levels of care, ensuring that care plans are followed accordingly. Act as a key worker for guests (following the training manual and care plans). Supporting our guests with personal care, ensuring social and emotional needs are met. Be understanding and patient towards guests needs, encouraging and assisting guests to partake in leisure activities and updating and maintaining accurate guest’s records and ensure that any changes in physical and mental wellbeing are reported to the Managers and Seniors.
You will also be responsible to ensure that yourself and care staff comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements, COSHH and infection control, be alert to a resident`s safety.
You will need to have: –
Previous experience and ideally a knowledge of working with older adults.
Ideally Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, however, a carer with many years of experience would also be considered, most of all you would need to be flexible
